The reblue will reduce it's value compared to original finish. When you say "non original front sight", are you just talking about the bead or the ramp also? That could indicate other alterations like a shortened barrel which would reduce value further. However, a mechanically good, decent shooter should still be worth $600 up to maybe $1000 or so. Not sure a re-blued altered rifle would bring anything close to $1700 unless it was a restoration by Turnbull
