Can anyone recommend a gunsmith for a 20 Ga, LC Smith. This shotgun is a single trigger, ejector Field grade I believe made in 1948.

This shotgun sat for many years unused and when I tried to use it it would fail to fire the second barrel sometimes.

I recently received the shotgun back from what I thought was a good gunsmith. He obviously did not fire the gun after he worked on it.

Yesterday when i tested the gun it would fail to fire the second or left barrel. I heard a click but it did not fire and would eject the unfired shell as if fired.

I decided to switch barrels and moved the selector to left where upon it fired both barrels and broke of the wood where he had the crudely repaired the stock underneath the sideplate.

Is this something i could maybe fix myself? if not I need REAL gunsmith not a parts changer to send this too any recommendations would be appreciated.

This is a shotgun my father bought in the 1960's and is the first gun i hunted with I would like to get it running.
