I first heard it done by Johnny Horton many, many years ago. The last time I heard on the radio was a couple years back on some syndicated Saturday or Sunday show hosted by Bob Dylan. As mentioned, it was a surprise to me. I wonder what's next? A re- release of "Song of the South?"
