I agree with Stevens. (In a way)
The main impediment to imposing gun control, gun confiscation, etc. is the 2nd Amendment. If you want to do gun control, repeal the 2nd Amendment. Anything else is demagoguery and cheap theatrics.
If you don't repeal the 2A, there's not going to be any sense in talking gun control.
I think folks will never allow the 2A to be repealed. I think you'd have an armed uprising if they tried. I'm all for the 2A, and its interpretation as an individual right.
