The leather stuff that you can find around here seems to be low quality.
Plus, I cant ever find anything that is EXACTLY what I want.
My friend the harness maker is not ready to get rid of anything, but I did get a good lesson on what works and what a person needs to get started.
He is in his 80's and most of his heavy harness work is behind him. Told me today that even the Amish have switched to nylon harness!
Leather is a novelty today. There is little you can do with it that can't be done better with modern materials. That said...people like novelty. Keep it novel. There is something about leather that turns some people on.
