I drew unit 34 rifle elk MB and my son drew unit 30 rifle elk ES. My daughter got skunked. I will have to buy her a youth encouragement tag.
I was hunting deer just south of Queens last year and had two bulls standing 170 yards across a drainage for 30 minute. One was a decent 5x6 the other was a younger 3x3. It was humbling to think how one would pack one of those animals out of that place!! Hope you both have excellent hunts.
I will be back this year with another mule deer tag in unit 30 first rifle.
