I think what you are implying has some merit, Jeff.
Trying to have a singe gun be able to handle such a broad range of bullets (percentage wise) is less than optimum.
Contrary to some of the 'spurts on here, faster twist is always better............I'm not necessarily buying into that.
Some of my most accurate barrels were on rifles with just enough twist to stabilize the chosen bullet(s).
Expecting best results on 224 bullets from 52 to long 90-100 grain bullets is likely not optimum for the lighter bullets. If I were to build a Valkyrie, I'd probably do 2 rifles; one with a 6 twist & one with an 8 or a 7.5 twist.
