This rod will be for trolling and casting lures for med to large trout.
I’ve been using a Shimano bass rod for years (decades).
It’s too stiff for trout, and too long to fit in my rod case.
This new set up should be perfect, and fits in the case.
Next weekend, it's off to the high country.
