Starting load workup with 139 scenars in the 6.5ctr. I have yet to find a bad review on these bullets and combine that with all the dead critters I see guys like Pat piling up, I had to give them a go. Now this is my start - the target today was not long range - 100 yards - but I can now tweek a couple things with 1-2 charges and see how they do down range at 4-600 yards next time out. But again very promising results.

Using 1x fired Hornady Brass, H4350, CCI BR2 primers. All loads were loaded .005 off the lands. I started at 41.0 and worked up to 43.5. Surprisingly, even at 43.5, primers and brass looked good, warm, but still a safe load.Every load shot .75" or better, with most in the .4-.5" range - 5 Shot groups. 43.5 averaged out at 2855 FPS.

Rifle is a T3X CTR in a McMillan Game Hunter Carbon Fiber Stock, Warne Mnt Tech rings, NF ATACR F1 4-16X42.

I am going to load 20 behind 43.5 - loaded .005,.010,.015,.020, off and test them at long range next time out. If they perform in the accuracy department and drops verify the velocity readings, I am going to be chasing deer, elk, antelope, and bears with 139 scenars this fall!

41.0 - 5 shot average 2652 FPS
41.5 - 5 shot average 2714 FPS
42.0 - 4 shot average 2733 FPS (Chrono errored on 1 shot)
42.5 - 5 shot average - 2748 FPS
43.0 - 4 shot average - 2808 FPS (Chrono errored on 1 shot)
43.5 - 5 shot average - 2855 FPS
