I try to buy a couple Creek Chub Pikie Minnows off E-Bay every year. These fine old lures are as much a piece of art as they are fishing gear. I recently picked on up for $11.50 including shipping that's in really nice shape. Came with the original box, but it's the newer box with the clear lid, not the older all cardboard box. I don't mind, it's in really good shape. I only look for the older glass-eyed wooden ones and try to get them with a good box. I'd like to get some of the oddball colors, but they always come with a premium price. I've rounded up a pretty nice collection of these iconic lures. Somebody else will get a chance to enjoy them when my time comes, but hopefully that's not for a while yet.
