I spent some time working in Europe and met lots of people in The Netherlands, Germany and France. Nobody was as kind to me as the French who lived close to the coast. I recall traveling to Omaha Beach one weekend in celebration of my birthday. We stopped at a small cafe for lunch and when I asked if there was an English menu, I was almost mobbed. They were so thankful that America sent her boys to help them out and promised it would never be forgotten. Needless to say, that gesture far overshadowed the pricks in Paris who don't even like each other, much less Americans.

There are 2 rules to success:

1. Never tell everything that you know.
