Something like that ^^^^

That my friend is the million dollar question. I have a Browning BPS that's been my go to std. For over a decade now. I have two barrels for it.

1st one is a 28" vent rib with invector plus chokes

2nd is an older 20" with rifle sights and takes the regular invector chokes.

I was very very lucky to have found that 20" barrel. It's the one I use for Turkey, Deer, and Predator.
I usually either keep an extended turkey tube or extended rifled choke tube it it.

I still haven't found a better one gun solution. If I had to pick only one gun to keep period that would probably be it.

It's not perfect, but it will get the job done on anything that walks, runs or flys in North America. 12 ga is one versatile rig.

Take a look at the BPS. I've had them all Rem, Mossberg, Benelli, Beretta, Winchester.....

Remington's 870 is still a solid choice and my second recommendation.

Good luck in the search.
