Would anti-seize compound be appropriate?
Probably so, I use Pro Shot Pro Gold, as that's what I use for the lugs.
Even plain 'ol wheel bearing grease I assume would be just fine.
After having a brand new Bat gall the threads, I pay a little more attention to cleanliness & plenty of lube.
Obviously I don't use that guy anymore.......
