I recently acquired a very nice Marlin chambered in 375 Win. Luckily I got a little over 50 rounds of 375 ammo with it. Anyway, I’ve been researching less expensive ammo to do a little pleasure shooting with and the prospect of shooting all lead 38-55 rounds in it comes up. In fact one company swears its perfectly safe to use their 38-55 ammo in a rifle chambered for 375 Win. Has anyone personally done this or have any first hand knowledge of it being done and being safe?
