I recently tried this in 3 different rifle. May have been an older lot because it came in the brown boxes.
5 shot groups were an inch horizontal two inches vertical at 100 yards from all three barrels, two Criterion and one BWH.
That sounds like a technique prob, not an ammo prob. ARs are notorious for vertical stringing from the bench.
