I am in the process of putting together a nice general purpose rifle on a new short action model 70 Winchester. I am wanting to get the barrel cut and re-crowned, possibly add a front sight and have the barreled action re-blued in a matte finish. Any suggestions on who to do the work?
The rifle is currently a 308 but may send to JES for Reboring to 338 Federal. Actually that is a very high probability at this point.
I also ordered a new McMillan black and orange Swirly compact today but likely several months before arrival..
Anyway that's what I have cookin. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
