I cannot offer any information about recoil tolerance but have owned both an MRO and several RMR's. I'm confident the RMR would take the recoil and might be a better choice because it can be mounted a bit closer to the bore of the rifle? Something to ponder for sure. Good luck on your upcoming hunt!
