I was perusing some sites rereading interesting Winchester history when it dawned on me that I've never seen any reference to an early Winchester lever gun in 22LR other than the 1873. I am curious why Winchester never brought out (until much later in the 9422), a 22 scaled lever gun to compete with Marlin's 1891/92/97/39.

Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.
