I don't even know my average amount per year. If I were not so lazy I could look in my loading log. I load my Prairie Dog ammo 1000 at a time. I load my hunting ammo 100 at a time. This gives me enough to sight in with, hunt with and to show off at the deer club range! In my pistols, 9mm, 38 special, 357, 44 magnum and 45 auto I have what I call my working stock. These are loaded with a favorite proven cast bullet load and stored in bulk. The numbers range from 2500 to 5500 for each caliber. I'll shoot them until they are all used up, then I'll start tumbling brass and casting bullets until I load again. I'll load 41 Magnum, 44 special and 45 Colt in lots between 100 and 500. My working stock will last between a year and a few years. I'm casting for 44 magnum and 45 auto right now.
