Rest assured if one gets such a slug up to 16 or 17 hundred fps, it will be killing on both ends. I loaded up some 405's to 1,750, and they are not fun. Have mold for some 540 grain slugs, but I am not going there with the Guide Gun. Will give them a try though in 15lb 45-90 Sharps.
