One thing you may try b before putting in a a new spring. Check the hammer strut that goes through the mainspring???
Does it have a slight bow in it. It should bow up in the middle. If not,,,with the spring in the receiver, take
a pretty big screwdriver and bend up on the strut, putting an upwards bow in it. See if that cures the
misfires...
