I had both eyes done three years ago. Medicare covered all but something less than $100 per eye for some prescription eye drops. My vision went from around 20-400 to 20-20 in the right eye and 20-25 in the left. I still need reading glasses but obviously see fine to drive. After wearing glasses for 60 years I cannot tell you how great it is to sit in a tree stand or ground blind on a frosty day and not have to fuss with foggy eyeglasses. I can now shoot iron sighted rifles quite well (at least from a vision standpoint).

One thing I have to remember to do is to wear safety glasses when working on certain things in the shop.

It is a quick and easy deal with fairly quick recovery time to normal.
