Under Obama the Democrats had the House and damn near a super majority in the Senate, yet they failed to enact any major Firearms legislation. Why? Why did they let this Golden opportunity slip through their fingers?

Remove Firearms, repeal the Second, Confiscate, call it what you wish, but doing so would also
Remove one of the Democrat Party's major talking points and campaign fodder. They have almost no platform to run on. Gun Control and f*ck the NRA is pretty much all they have in their quiver. Remove that and they have less than nothing to campaign on.
