I forgot about the 35 whelen Handi - cool cartridge , remember reading about they could be used in Ms . primitive season .
A 444marlin is a rimmed straight off the press 30-06 case I reckon that has a lot to do with it staying around .
Never had a rifle bigger than 30 caliber - really liking this Handi little rifle , going to make it my go-to day/night hog at the feeder rifle . Going to put a 4x12-50 Leupold VXR scope on it .
Prices on them have went way up seen a 50 cal. asking price $500+ ,300blk-out $400 just browsing them - not looking to buy .
