I shot exactly one adult doe with the 100gr .243 Prohunter, and it worked well on that broadside shot through the heart at 100 yards. It didn't exit, however, and that could be a problem at another angle or on a bigger deer, so I'm going to use the rest of my supply up in practice or reduced loads. A similar shot, but much closer with a NP was just as destructive, but punched on through.

The big bag of blems I bought from Grafs had one empty jacket in it. I sectioned it, and it's internally tapered just as they say; pretty thick in fact where it counts. I suspect the core must be pretty soft. The blems mostly had a little extra curl of lead on the nose that popped off with my thumbnail. Weights after doing that were pretty consistent for leadpoints.
