Picked up a CZ-550 Medium (9,3 x 62 Mauser) a year back... very cheap.

Gun stock was the horrible "Hogback" style and in really rough shape... added the MC with some spare teak and shaped with a rasp. Added about 2" to the LOP... and modified the foregrip to a pull claw idea I had. Then rubberized the whole carp in a camo pattern.

Put on a fixed 6x H&R (Hertel & Reuss) #1... which was 26mm (so I also had to ream the 1" rings).

She is finally together and I am very pleased... handles very well for me...

Range report when I get the chance...

FYI... 9,3 x 62 Mauser shoots 250 gr bullets (.366) at 2,700 FPS... factory ammo is SUPER CHEAP ($20/box) and the round hit game like a freight train... recoil is quite manageable.
