How could David ever "qualify" to sit on an earthly throne after he failed to reckon himself dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God? He was an adulterer! How could he ever hope to gain an inheritance in the kingdom of heaven?
Man! David was a sinner! Eeeeek! He can't possibly EVER be used of God again. Fiery indignation waits to consume him surely, as an adversary. And he did it WILFULLY! Can you even imagine?
