Hogg is just cashing in on a tragedy. There are approx. 3100 students enrolled at the school and depending on how many were absent that day, maybe 2800 +/- in attendance.
They all are survivors of the shooting, but they are not cashing in on the tragedy. In other words, the rest of the students have got 'class'.
FWIW, he's been accepted to Harvard with a 1270 SAT which is well below Harvard standards. The bottom 25% of students at Harvard averaged 1460 SAT.
It's all about the money.
That is spot on. He had a plan and the attention worked. The LIbs couldn't get enough of him.
