This is what I use with my 54 cal barrel. I have a 50 cal barrel also for my Thompson Center Hawken. Killed probably around 20 deer with them. What about Buffalo Bullets? Don't know if they are still available.
I picked up six boxes of these. They shoot really good out of my Wolverine.
