The barrel I have was from an M37 newer than S/N 850,000. Too bad, it's a 98% barrel.

You seem to know about this change, so let me ask you this. Those thread designs below 855,000 were serialized and those after 855,000 dropped the serial number? So, is that a quick way to tell those.... which will fit my gun S/N # 78x,xxx, and those which will not?
