You’d be surprised by how many of the 0.1% Mexican ‘aristocracy’ which rules and despoils that country have ‘foreign’ last names. Many are direct Spaniard descendants, but Irish and Yankees are also in the mix. Did you ever wonder why so many of the Mexican politicians are lily white Europeans in a country with such a significant indigenous population?
