Glad to hear your coming my way for a bear hunt! I'm sure you will see some nice bears and some real nice country. You will do just fine with any of those scopes you listed or equivalent. That is what most of the guys around here hunt with. Much of the terrain here on the west coast of BC is very rugged mountains and a mix of dense forests and opened up with logging roads and logging slashes/clear cuts. The weather can still be pretty unsettled here in the spring so I am sure you would appreciate having a good rain jacket and a good pair of waterproof boots. I have the LL Bean Maine hunting boots that I like as my hunting boots.
