I have seen the Redfield scope and mount/ M-294 at shows in Wisconsin for in the $300 range,I would not pay that but they seem to get it.
Certainly no longer a collector's candidate...BUT....if I wanted a classic for a nostalgic hunt then I don't feel (at least for me) $300 is out of the question. Where else could you pick up a piece of classic steel and walnut for that price?
