Nice Marlin 336 .35 Pre-Safety (JM) for trade. This belonged to my wife's grandfather and she got several of his lever actions when he passed. We already have a Marlin .35 that's killed several bears over the years and I would never part with it even though it looks like it's been dragged behind the truck for 50 miles so this one needs a home. This rifle is nice for it's age. Normal handling marks and the blueing is very good. Absolutely no rust or pitting. Probably been carried more than shot and really you would be hard pressed to find a better one. I put a hammer spur and a Williams peep with firedot front sight on it for him a couple years ago so he could see the sights. I could consistently hit a 8 inch steel plate with it at 100 yards after I set the peep for him. It shoots really good. I'm sure I have the original front blade sight for the rifle, I will have to look. Sling does not come with it. She has started shooting at some groundhogs in the back fields behind the house off the deck and she wants her own rifle lol...She is wanting to trade it for a nice Thompson Contender Carbine (no pistol) with a .17 Rem, .222 or .223 barrel. It must be the blued version and have the walnut stocks, no plastic and no laminate. She is really looking for a Contender Carbine because of the small size but she might also be interested in a nice bolt rifle in .222 since that is what she is shooting at them now with lol. I'm not putting a price on it for her now. Looking for a even trade. If a trade is made she will pay her own shipping and you do the same to each others FFL of choice. Sorry so long of a post. Let me know.

Thanks
