Awesome looking rifle. I am a sucker for those fullstocked Husqvarnas. Outstanding caliber too. Looks to be in fantastic shape. Have you found any ammo it prefers specifically yet?
I think you may actually have a model 458. The model 458 had a Monte Carlo cheek piece and the 456 was straight combed with a small side cheek piece. Have you inspected the trigger yet? Some 458 model actually had a Timney type trigger installed on them rather than the Mauser pivot type trigger. If it is the Mauser type trigger assembly, perhaps a rework from a gunsmith would do the trick? I have not tried a Huber personally so I can not speak for them.
