Nikita Khrushchev was in the house with other party members when stalin died. Popular belief is stalin was murdered, or denied medical attention. According to ussr archives, stalin had plans to start WW3, but then again everyone has plans for the next war that never happens. The final part of the rumor is Nikita pulled the plug to prevent WW3. Anyway that is popular myth/truth.
Those guys are pretty mafia like, so I'd wager a beer that he was killed. Street cred for Nikita, head wolf. Kinda like believing Putin has people killed..........
Nikita did play hardball with JFK, and he had kill in his eyes. So I hope he held a pillow over stalin's face.
