I agree with Woodmaster, no great deal there. The 28 modified choked Rem 1100's were and are the commonly found models. The Rem 1100's in skeet or trap guns bring $100 to $200 more on average.
Try to find a used clean Winchester Super-X model one shotgun for $550.00.....you will have a shotgun engineered and built like a Win model 12.
I agree on the Winchester Super X1. Great guns, but finding one around here in decent shape or any shape for $550 is getting next to impossible to do. Remington auto loaders everywhere, the early Winchesters not so much. I think the blue collar livelihood and slightly cheaper cost made the Remingtons easier to sell around here.
