I'll ask my friend in Botswana about rates for birding trips he does in the Okavango when not acting as PH. As MD has explained, the logistics can make African trips rather dear. From time spent in several African nation over the years I can attest that the bird viewing is stunning. A few pics from last year while hunting in Botswana. Except the last one.
