Superfeet Green is the standard recommendation but is a thicker insole so know they will take up a little space in the boot. The blue is a little lower. The carbon is the thinnest and takes up the least space by far. The amount of "wiggle room" in your shoe should be part of the decision on which one you'll want to use. I use the Green in my daily shoes and the carbon in olympic lifting shoes.

They can be heated and molded if you desire. I've found over the last several years that even though the out of the box arch on them is higher than my normal arch, at the end of a hard use day my feet feel better when I use them. I've never heated or changed them from the out of the box size.
