Question for those a lot more knowledgeable than I am... What Winchesters have a front sight dovetail that is .470? Asking because I have a vintage Lyman No 5 folding sight for Winchesters with that size mount. It folds as it should, the ivory bead is intact and the screws are not frozen. The writing on the hood says "LYMAN REG US PAT OFF".
