I have the Horse Thief and I find the temp rating about average. (I think I sleep about 5* warm) It is however, very comfortable and of reasonably good quality. OTH my Western Mountaineering "Caribou" is much lighter and (IME) sleeps warmer than its rating. All up, I'd say the BA bags are worth what one pays. I'm kinda half considering a Zirkel as (I think) I need a 20* bag that is in the two Lb range.
OTH, I think I have a connection that can score me a deal with Golite and I may go that way.
