I've had a sporter-weight 6MM-06 since the mid 90s. I've killed Mule Deer, White Tail, Antelope, Caribou and Sheep with it, plus lots of Coyotes and Prairie Dogs. Mine is a 700LH, #2 Douglas SS barrel (1 in 10) and Brown Precision stock. I shoot 100 grain Partitions and 70 grain BTs. I've enjoyed the rifle thoroughly. Wouldn't change a thing. The farthest I've killed a Game Animal with it was the Bighorn @ 348 yards. So, obviously, I'd vote 6MM-06.
