Of course they're spooked. It's all about the money. When we pulled out of the climate deal OBarry made, that leaves them holding the bill for all the money we were going to provide to pay third-worlders to sit in the dark and eat cold beans so everyone else could continue to produce and pollute as before.
Funny thing is we are meeting and exceeding emissions goals while all the Euro-whiners ain't. Energy efficiency makes economic sense for businesses, but tying it to political nonsense is just another way to rob the U.S. of our money and freedom, which they really hate.
