If I recall correctly, I think there were several levels available. From looking at the pictures the checkering looks pretty decent. Maybe some of the fancier checkering options included more lines per inch? In any case, it's an interesting rifle.

Upgraded checkering is an option that crossed my mind. K style checkering maybe, adapted to fit a solid frame?
