ive found a 7 digit 6.5x55 for 1525. anyone have any opinions on if thats a deal? i understand the caliber is rare, but i had my hopes up for a lower serial number. any input would be greatly appreciated
I have purchased several classics in the last year of various cartridges and I would say that is on the high end. I would consider a price in the 1000-1200 range for that rifle in 95%+ condition.
yes i agree and the debate with the 7 digit serial is always entertained when haggling. he would not come down off the 1500 dollar mark, stating the caliber makes it rare and desirable. well to me id rather have a early 90's 5 digit super grade for less money. figured id ask the crowd though
