I haven’t read then entire thread.
I have thought a modern version of one of the 450/400’s would be just right. So a 300 @ 2550 or a 350 @ 2300 or a 400 @ 2150.
Such a load is much more manageable than a 400 @ 2400 which usual for all the 416’s.

I'm gonna start the 350 Speer at around 2,250, 2,300 and see how it goes.
Speer's latest data shows their 350 at 2,800 with compressed, maxed out Power Pro 2000 load. I bet that one would talk to ya... Sounds more like a .416 Wby. Bet it would slap ya like one.
