Great old bull, beautiful bosses, very fine trophy. Out on his own like that, it's a good thing you got him before the lions did.
He ended up probably a mile from camp. We heard lions almost every night from camp, so for sure there were lions around. A little bit unnerving but at least our sleeping quarters had solid walls, but only screens on the windows. Trackers were sleeping in tents!!
