I’m shooting the 156 in 6.5 Creedmoor.
I tried close to the lands, about .005 but got better accuracy at .025 off
COAL- 2.95
I worked up and settled on 40.5 grains H4350. Got ejector mark at 41 grains
I very low es , 12 fps,
Norma brass
Fed 210
2650 fps
The load work up was 40, 40.3, 40.6, 40.9
The first 3 loads were .75” then poi changed and ejector mark at 40.9
I shot them at 460 yards and was sub moa for just 3 shots.
Shot an antelope 3 days ago at 515 yards. Bullet entered the ribs , took out the heart then exited and took out part of the shoulder.
He was slightly quartering. Was DRT
My rifle is a Barrett fieldcraft , 24”.
