I left NY State 35 years ago in a large part because of their gun laws. Used to be there was a tremendous complacency down here in Texas as in “that could never happen here” .

Only good thing about recent political developments is that people down here seem to be waking up to the fact that it COULD happen here. O’Rourke was almost our Senator.
