Simmons has been top rated for decades. In fact, I read where they installed some ribs for Winchester but I don't know if that's true or not. Their rebluing after adding a rib is great. I have heard something lately that they are owned by someone else but I don't know any of this for a fact. I do know that I have one Model 12 with a Simmons rib that I really like.
